Finding Us
The Counselling Service at Treforest is located on main campus within the Student Services department in Cynon (C Block). 
How to Book an Appointment
For a 'First Appointment’ only you can book online – see below.
Alternatively, and for ongoing appointments, you can come to Reception in Student Services at Treforest in Cynon (C Block), or telephone 01443 482 080.
Ask to make an appointment to see a Counsellor. You can say if you prefer to see a particular person. Appointments are usually available from 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 3pm on Friday.
However, at busy times it can take more than a week before we are able to see you. So it is important not to let problems build up – contact us as soon as you decide to see a Counsellor.

You can also book an appointment online. Please note, you will need to be logged in to Glamlife in order to use the booking system.
Making a 'Bookable on the Day’ Appointment at Treforest
If you need to talk to someone very quickly, a 'Bookable on the Day’ appointment is usually available Monday to Friday at 11am. These appointments are not bookable in advance. They can only be booked on the same day by calling 01443 482 080 or coming to Student Services Reception from 8.45am.
If you think your situation is an emergency, you might want to contact your GP or the University Health Centre
If you wish to speak to someone outside regular times please go to the Out of Hours Support page.

The Counselling Service is currently located next to the CCI Advice Shop area on the ground floor (on the right hand side if you have come in the front entrance).
How to Book an Appointment
For a 'First Appointment’ only you can book online – see below.
Alternatively, and for ongoing appointments, you can telephone 01443 668541 or 01443 482 080. Or you can telephone at no cost using the Free Phone situated through the double doors just beyond the entrance to the Library. Speed Dial 3 connects you to Student Services Reception at Treforest.

The Counselling Service at Glyntaff is located in the Student Services area of the Elaine Morgan building, through the sliding door on the right hand side of the foyer, next to the Education Drop-In Centre.
How to Book an Appointment
For a 'First Appointment’ only you can book online – see below. Please note however that your initial 'assessment’ appointment will be at Treforest, after which you may be able to attend any ongoing counselling sessions at Glyntaff, and these are normally available on Thursday mornings.
Alternatively, and for ongoing appointments, you can come to Reception in Student Services at Treforest in Cynon (C Block), or telephone 01443 482 080.
Ask to make an appointment to see a Counsellor , and make clear you would prefer to be seen at Glyntaff if possible. If your timetable commitments make it impossible to attend on Thursday mornings at Glyntaff, you are welcome to come to Treforest for your counselling sessions.
